I saw the notice in the Wash Post and Quackenbush is not a common name so though
somehow along the way we may be related. Not sure, but our thoughts and prayes
are with you at this most difficult time.

and Mary Jean Quackenbush (Herndon, VA).

I was so sorry to read about "Haps" death in today's paper. I did not
know him well, but I remember the lunch that he fixed for us when we were
painting out at your house. He seemed very kind.

My thoughts are with you
I just saw the notice in the Washington Post, and my sympathies and prayers are
with all of the family. It was nice to know Hap a little bit before he and
Barbara moved away from the DC area. I especially remember his sense of humor
and interest in a wide range of subjects--he had a varied and interesting life,
judging from this online description.

My condolences.
I'm sorry to learn of Hap's passing. Words can never provide much comfort in a
time like this. Hap touched many lives and will be fondly remembered. I will
especially remember his laughter and smile as well as the twinkle in his eyes.
Barb, you, Steve, Mark, Holly and Torrey will be in my thoughts. I know this is
a difficult time for all of you. You have my sincere condolences.
