Paul Emanuel Falls, 85, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Falls was born on Oct. 3, 1923, in Rockingham County and was the son of the late Charles and Minerva Franklin Falls. Paul worked for many years prior to his retirement as a delivery man for the Rhodes Candy Co.
On March 22, 1948, he married Frances Marie Falls, who preceded him in death on Aug. 6, 2008. He also was preceded in death by two sons, Paul Edward Falls and Dennis Eugene Falls; and three brothers.
He is survived by one daughter, Peggy Falls of Grottoes; three sons, Ronald Lee Falls and wife, Betty Lou, of Briery Branch, Robert Gary Falls of Harrisonburg, and Charles Andrew Falls of Chattham; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday July 29, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens near Harrisonburg with the Rev. Laney Knight officiating. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
