I have such wonderful memories of Pete, and so many. Pete, Liz and the girls have been like a part of our family as long as I can remember. I think I got my "joke telling skills" from Pete, I remember him telling corny little jokes when I was little and of course I repeated them. He had such a big heart and warm personality. I don't think he ever met a stranger. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to Liz, Jennifer & Kim and their families.

Since the first time I met Pete, I always thought of him as one of the nicest people I have ever met. He had a way of making people feel welcome and as if you had been his friend forever. I had the privilege of working with Pete at Wallace. I could always tell when Pete was working nearby - I just listened for the bluegrass tune he'd be singing. After his retirement I'd usually see him in Wal Mart - always smiling and talking to somebody.

We are all so saddened to hear of Pete's death. He was such a fun loving person. We have many fond memories of our friendship with him and his family. Camping, bluegrass festivals, chicken roasts, and who could forget the old stick motorcycle handlebars that he and Kevin played with. Too many memories to mention.
